Broadcast Management System is an internally Developed Media Traffic & Scheduling System for the fast paced, ever changing environment of television broadcast. Today it caters to 100+ channels spread across the globe spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Asia, the Far East and North & South America.
The system carries in excess of 30000 commercials daily to viewers adding value to our advertisers. Electronic Data Interchange facilitates exchange of data between media houses and our local offices where our Air Time Sales teams are present, over its entire life cycle. Optimization engines help maximize our revenues and air time usage by offering varied spread of commercials. BMS integrates with a host of Playout Automation systems and dynamic graphic, menu, and statutory disclaimers are generated and triggered automatically, reducing the effort required to create and schedule these events. We are constantly working with our Sales teams to create and drive new revenue streams like Contextual Ad insertion, Ad Replacements for local markets, leading and lagging commercials etc.
Content management modules trigger media deliveries, optimizes usage of rights and the media repository, and compliance of viewer protection. This is achieved by integrations with DAM for media and TERMS rights related info.
Traffic Management, integrates Content management, Ad sales and Marketing while maintaining compliance with local laws (TRAI in India, BARB in UK & GFK in Germany, etc). Separation between competing product, contractual obligations, etc are enforced so as to protect our advertisers’ interest. Accordingly, our sales returns are below 0.01% of our revenues.
This system currently replicates over multiple server in different geographies, with trained personnel at each of these locations, to ensure business continuity.
